The town of Zizzle-Dee-Doo was a curious place,
Where every soul sought a bright, sunny space.
But the space that they sought, and the thing that they craved,
Was a special blue light that the Algorithm waved!
The Algorithm, a twisty-turn fellow,
Liked only the things that were punchy and mellow.
It valued the Quick and the Easy-to-See,
And mostly ignored what was deep as the sea.
Professor Ponder's Piles of Truth
There once was a man named Professor Ponder,
Who knew all the reasons why we should just wonder.
He’d write out his thoughts in a long, winding line,
About theorems and truth, and why apples decline.
He'd post his long articles, neat and profound,
With facts that could fix all the problems around.
He’d say, "See my thoughts! They are structured and sound!"
But the Algorithm just made a soft, rumbling sound.
"Too many of Words! Too much Think in your stack!
The Zizzle-Dee-Doos want their feelings right back!
To read all your logic takes effort and strain,
And folks who feel Effort won't click you again!"
So Professor Ponder, he sighed and he frowned,
His brilliant long Articles rarely were crowned.
He knew all the answers, but nobody looked,
His wonderful wisdom was quietly booked.
The Great Muscle-Man and the Girl of the Giggle
But then came the two who knew just what to show,
And made the blue Algorithm shine, glow, and grow!
First, Gym Rat Gus, with his arms big and round,
The Strongest and Flexiest man to be found!
He’d lift up a weight with a grunt and a grin,
Then pose in the sun right where the feeds begin.
He'd offer the people the Awe and the Vroom!
His presence alone took up all of the room.
He never explained Why or debated the Truth,
He just gave them a look of aspirational youth!
The Algorithm cheered, “Yes! That’s the stuff!
A quick look at perfection is always enough!
No need to use brains, no need to be deep,
Just quick status signals while minds are asleep!”
And next came Little Miss Lily (age seven),
Whose charm was a gift sent right down from heaven.
She'd try a big leap, then she'd tumble and fall,
But giggle and get up, not caring at all!
Her Courageous mistake was filmed with delight,
Her pure, earnest spirit, so happy and bright.
She offered the people the Hope and the Sweet,
A simple, warm feeling that couldn’t be beat.
The Algorithm chimed, “Oh, that’s just the best!
That feeling of warmth puts their worries to rest!
Relatable emotion is fast to consume,
A quick, lovely feeling to brighten the gloom!”
The Funny, Strange Fact of Zizzle-Dee-Doo
So Professor Ponder, he sat by his desk,
While the Gym Rat and Lily won every contest.
They won all the waves from the Algorithm’s hand,
The easiest things were the stars of the land.
He finally smiled at the comical scene,
The Fast and the Flash and the Happy were keen!
He saw that his purpose wasn’t to be seen Fast,
But to serve those whose Thinking was destined to Last.
For though Gym Rat Gus was the talk of the minute,
And brave little Lily was charmingly in it,
The few who read Ponder, they stopped all their hurry,
And learned all the truths that could quiet their worry.
So sleep well, dear friend, and remember the rule:
The best kind of thought may not be the most Cool.
The things that are fastest get all of the flair,
But the slow, Deepest Truths are the ones you must share!
